It is a holistic approach with Herbal medicine, Nutritional theory, Ayurvedic massages & cleansing techniques & Spiritual yoga practices being central elements of Ayurveda.There is a lot to learn & understand about the vedic wisdom which India has known for many thousands of years. It is a deep & rich knowledge & wisdom which the Indian population had passed on from generations to generations.Because of the impact Vedic wisdom has on Indian culture, we will explore different ayurvedic focused places such as ayurvedic fire ceremonies on the Rishikesh tour, vedic schools, practices & museums, learning about Ayurveda - the "knowledge of life".

India is a multisensory experience, so of course we'll try the smells and tastes, taking you to traditional Indian restaurants for you to eat & enjoy authentic traditional indian food.In Kerala, savor Sadya, a traditional vegetarian feast served on a banana leaf, and Malabar Biryani in Kochi, known for its rich spices. In the Himalayas, enjoy hearty Tibetan Momos and Thukpa, while in Rishikesh, indulge in wholesome Aloo Puri and Sattvic Meals focusing on fresh, organic ingredients.Each region offers its unique flavors, making your culinary journey through India a true delight for the senses!

Day 1-2: Arrival in Kochi (30th November - 1st December)
Begin your journey in Kerala, "God's Own Country," with a warm welcome in the culturally rich city of Kochi. This city, known for its blend of history, culture, and modernity, will give you a glimpse of Kerala’s traditional roots. As you settle into your hotel near the airport, take time to relax and prepare for the days ahead, enjoying the nearby peaceful environment. You'll sense the shift from modern life to the natural rhythms of Kerala, setting the tone for your spiritual and nature-filled journey.
Day 3: Kottakkal - Ayurvedic Healing (2nd December)
We begin with a visit to Arya Vaidya Sala in Kottakkal, one of the most renowned Ayurvedic centers in India. Here, you will delve into the ancient wisdom of Ayurveda, which has been practiced in Kerala for over 5,000 years. Through personalized treatments, massages, and therapies, you'll start to feel a deep physical and spiritual rejuvenation. The day will allow you to experience the profound healing that Ayurveda offers, harmonizing your body and mind with nature's rhythms.
Day 4: Arya Samaj Kerala - Vedic Traditions (3rd December)

Day 7: Munnar - Serenity in the Hills (6th December)

Day 8: Illikkal Kallu Kottayam - Hiking Sacred Hilltops (7th December)
Our hike through the picturesque hilltops of Illikkal Kallu will leave you feeling both physically invigorated and spiritually connected. These sacred mountains, surrounded by mystical clouds and panoramic views, are believed to hold powerful energy. As you walk these paths, you’ll be invited to connect deeply with the earth and the ancient traditions of the land. With every step, you’ll feel more grounded and in tune with the natural world, ending the day with a sense of accomplishment and peace.
Day 9: Vaikhom and the Shiva Mahadeva Temple (8th December)
Step into the spiritual heart of Kerala with a visit to the ancient Shiva Mahadeva Temple in Vaikhom. This sacred temple, devoted to Lord Shiva, radiates a profound energy of devotion and spiritual power. As you participate in the rituals, the temple’s timeless vibrations will help you connect to the divine within, offering a sense of inner peace and clarity. In the evening, a special night-time temple visit will enhance the spiritual resonance of the day.
Day 10: Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary and Kerala’s Backwaters (9th December)
After a spiritual morning at the temple, we’ll journey to the Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary, where you will witness Kerala’s remarkable biodiversity. The birds and wildlife represent the harmony and balance of the natural world, encouraging you to reconnect with the quieter, more subtle aspects of life. As you float along Kerala’s backwaters on a houseboat, you’ll experience the serene flow of the river, symbolizing the effortless rhythm of life. The experience is designed to deepen your connection to nature and foster relaxation.
Day 11-12: Backwater Houseboat Experience and Village Life (10th-11th December)
Spend two days floating on the tranquil backwaters of Kerala, soaking in the slow pace of life that these river routes offer. This 24-hour houseboat journey - with private rooms - will provide an intimate look at traditional Kerala village life, where people live in close harmony with the rivers and land. As you drift through these ancient waterways, you’ll be invited to meditate and reflect, experiencing a profound sense of unity with nature. The slower pace will help you release stress and feel the peaceful flow of life. Getting off the houseboat on the 11th at 11am, we will hop on the local boats for 1-2hrs near Allapuzha to see how the locals get around & live (for them the local boats are like buses on the river). From 1pm we'll grab lunch near the train station & at 2pm we'll take a comfortable climitazed train to Varkala where we will arrive at around 5pm to drop off our luggage in the hotel. From there we'll see the magnificent cliffs & watch the sunset before heading back to share dinner before resting in our hotel for the night.
Day 13: Varkala to Thiruvananthapuram & Sree Padmanabha Temple (12th December)
After breakfast in the hotel we'll head by train in a high class train from Valkala to Thiruvananthapuram. Resting for a little while in the hotel after checking in, we'll then visit the Sree Padmanabha Temple, one of Kerala’s most important spiritual sites. Here, the blend of nature, history, and devotion will deepen your spiritual experience. The day will culminate with a peaceful evening at Kovalam Beach, where the sunset over the ocean invites inner reflection and gratitude. Finishing the day with dinner near the hotel.
Day 14: Cherthala and St. Andrew’s Basilica (13th December)
Today, explore St. Andrew’s Basilica in Cherthala, an ancient church with a rich spiritual history. This day offers a quiet and contemplative experience, connecting you with Kerala’s deep Christian traditions. As you walk through the peaceful grounds, you’ll feel the spiritual energy of centuries of devotion, enhancing your own journey of inner exploration and faith. Itinerary

Day 1 (15th-16th February): Arrival in Mumbai
Arrive in Mumbai anytime on 15th February or early on 16th February. Transfer to your hotel near the airport where we will warmly welcome you. This initial rest will prepare you for the adventures ahead.
Day 2 (16th February): Gandhi Darshan and Journey to Aurangabad
At 9 am, visit the Gandhi Darshan Museum in Mumbai, where you'll gain insights into Mahatma Gandhi's life and legacy. In the afternoon, board a high-class, climate-controlled train to Aurangabad (1:10 pm - 7 pm). Upon arrival, check into your hotel, enjoy dinner, and rest for the night.
Day 3 (17th February): Ajanta Caves and Travel to Ellora
Travel by local bus or taxi to Ajanta, renowned for its magnificent Buddhist cave temples and the picturesque Ajanta Waterfalls. The ancient art and serene surroundings will offer deep spiritual reflections. In the evening, journey by local transport to Ellora for overnight accommodation.
Day 4 (18th February): Ellora Caves and Return to Mumbai
Explore the breathtaking Ellora Caves, including the Buddhist, Jain, and the grand Kailasa Temple, a marvel of rock-cut architecture. After a full day of exploration, travel by public bus (5:30 pm - 7 pm) back to Aurangabad. Enjoy dinner before boarding a high-class train back to Mumbai at 9:30 pm. Arrive in Mumbai around 5:30/6 am the following morning.
Day 5 (19th February): Travel to Ahmedabad
After an early breakfast in Mumbai, take a high-class train to Ahmedabad at 12 pm. Upon arrival, check into your hotel, have dinner, and rest for the night.
Day 6 (20th February): Gandhi Ashram and Journey to Udaipur
Visit the Gandhi Ashram, where Gandhi lived and worked from 1915-1933, exploring his efforts to influence British rule peacefully. Enjoy lunch at a local traditional restaurant. In the afternoon, travel by train to Udaipur, arriving around 8 pm. Check into your hotel and enjoy dinner.
Day 7 (21st February): Udaipur Highlights and Night Train to Jaipur
Discover the architectural marvel of Jagdish Temple, the City Palace, and the Sahelion Ki Bari women’s garden. In the afternoon, enjoy a scenic boat trip on Lake Pichola for stunning city views. After dinner at a local restaurant, board a high-class night train to Jaipur at 10 pm, arriving the next morning.
Day 8 (22nd February): Jaipur Exploration
Arrive in Jaipur around 5:30/6 am. After breakfast, visit the Jaipur City Palace and the Jaipur Observatory. Check into a 4-star hotel for rest and relaxation.
Day 9 (23rd February): Fort Amber and Journey to Agra
Travel to Fort Amber, renowned for its stunning mosaics and architecture. After exploring, enjoy lunch before taking a high-class train to Agra in the afternoon. Arrive in Agra, check into your hotel, and have dinner.
Day 10 (24th February): Taj Mahal and Agra Fort
Visit the iconic Taj Mahal, a testament to enduring love, and the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Agra Fort. Experience the architectural beauty and historical significance of these landmarks. After dinner, board a luxury overnight train to Khajuraho at 9:40 pm, arriving around 8 am the next morning.
Day 11 (25th February): Khajuraho Temples
Arrive in Khajuraho, check into your hotel, and enjoy breakfast. Explore the Lakshmana Temple, Vishnuvanata Temple, Kali-Devi-Jagadamba Temple, and Parshvanata Temple, marveling at their intricate carvings and spiritual significance. Have lunch and dinner in Khajuraho and rest for the night.
Day 12 (26th February): Travel to Varanasi
After an early breakfast and lunch, board the luxury train to Varanasi - a pilgrim city on the Ganges River - at 12:30 pm. Arrive in Varanasi, check into your hotel, and have dinner.
Day 13 (27th February): Sarnath and Ganga Aarti
Travel to Sarnath to visit the Archaeological Museum, historical park, and ancient ruins. In the late afternoon, return to Varanasi to participate in the Sacred Ganga Aarti ceremony, a profound spiritual experience guided by Hindu priests. Enjoy dinner and transfer to the train station to board the 10 pm high-class train to Delhi, arriving at 8:30 am the following day.
Day 14 (28th February): Delhi Highlights
After arriving in Delhi, check into a hotel near the airport, have a local breakfast, and visit the Red Fort and Humayun’s Tomb, a UNESCO World Heritage site. These landmarks offer a glimpse into Delhi’s rich history and architectural splendor. Enjoy an early dinner before returning to the hotel.

Itinerary

Day 1 & 2: Arrival in Delhi (8th - 9th March)
We’ll begin our journey in Delhi, where you’ll be welcomed at a hotel near the airport. This time will allow you to relax and recover from travel. On Sunday, 9th March, after a restful morning, we’ll gather for lunch before boarding a high-class, climatised Indian train to Rishikesh, the "Yoga Capital of the World." As we journey to this sacred town at the foothills of the Himalayas, the transition from the bustling city to the serene energy of Rishikesh will begin.
Day 3: Rishikesh - Kirtan Festival & Personal Exploration (10th March)
We’ll kick off our first full day in Rishikesh with a delicious breakfast at the hotel, followed by the morning program of the Kirtan Festival. This festival is a celebration of divine music, where the vibrations of mantra singing fill the air, allowing you to immerse yourself in the energy of devotion, healing, and peace. After a soulful lunch, we’ll gather to map out our spiritual journey for the next 11 days. Based on group preferences, we’ll co-create an itinerary that may include daily Kirtan sessions, visits to temples, yoga classes, nature hikes, and spiritual practices by the Ganges. This day is about setting intentions and aligning the experience to meet your spiritual needs.
Day 4-13: Exploring Rishikesh & the Himalayas (11th - 21st March)
Here, the real magic begins. Over the next 10 days, we’ll blend spiritual practices with explorations of Rishikesh’s natural beauty and sacred sites. With so many things happening, including the Kirtain festival, the beautiful sights and untouched as well as multiple other spiritual ceremonies, you get to choose where we go from here for the next few days. Here are the options which we will decide together:
- Kirtan Festival: Continue your participation in this powerful daily program, engaging in mantra chanting, which brings inner peace and emotional healing. The vibrations of collective singing are known to harmonize the body and mind, leaving you feeling uplifted and connected to something greater than yourself.- Yoga & Meditation: You’ll have the opportunity to deepen your yoga practice, with sessions tailored to all levels. Rishikesh offers a peaceful atmosphere for meditative reflection, whether by the Ganges or on a quiet hilltop.- Ganges River: Spend time by the holy Ganges, where you can meditate, bathe in its purifying waters, or take part in sacred rituals like the Ganga Aarti – a beautiful fire ceremony performed each evening. The energy of the river is said to cleanse not only the body but also the soul.- Vashishta Guva Temple & Cave: Hidden in the serene natural surroundings, this cave temple is known for its spiritual potency. On the morning of Saturday, 22nd March, we’ll catch an early train back to Delhi, arriving in time for traditional Indian lunch. After our final meal together, you’ll have the option to rest at a hotel near the airport or depart directly for your evening flight. For those with later flights or departures the next day, we’ll provide accommodations, allowing you to relax and reflect on your transformative journey.
